This is an 8 centimeter thick massive oak slab flattened by a c and c router. Through the use of contrasting black resin, all holes and imperfections were repaired but at the same time emphasized. Above that, to prevent further cracking of the slab, the splits have been reinforced with three bowtie inlays. The bar table was finished with hard wax oil to preserve its natural colour and appearance. Commissioned by Edwin & Gerben.
